My Car's Story (so far) Its a 97 SE, but... It has the 2.4, and the GT rear bumper and dual exhaust. So I'm turning it into a GT. Progress on the conversion: GT Badges put on. It took 3 hours! (lesson here, spend the extra $10 to buy a new passengers side "sunfire" badge instead of removing and replacing it) Working on getting a GT front bumper. If you have a front bumper or side skirts for sale, feel free to email me! 2-3-2003: I just got my new engine. I bought another 97 2.4 w/ 50k miles. For starters this engine has 50k miles, compared to my ~100k. I'm planning on porting the intake manifold, throttle body, and head. I was able to buy the engine for about the same cost as those 3 parts together, so it was well worth it. while I'm at it I may do the "secret" cam swap. ***** July ***** I sold the sunfire! I really wanted something that already came with a turbo, and really wanted all wheel drive, so I bought a dsm! The engine that I had bought for it, secret cams, ported head, and mufflers are all for sale in the classifieds section.
