1998 Chevrolet CavalierAbout This Vehicle:
98 2.2 bright red, turbo, in the process of a rebuild, hope to be finished mid july. . this turbo with 3 inch exhaust to 2/12 out to a catback can. i ditched the EGR and all that cast iron that was bolted on to the cylinder head and turned the mil lights off for the EGR so i dont have a check engine light on, i have adjusted knock sensor, aded a little more fuel, set rev limiter and dfco. The car runs pretty well trying to launch was difficult as the car wants to barf out, i played with timing and knock and slowly working that out. i am still on a stock bottom end. put my bigger turbo back on 47/60 a/r this one spools up really quick. I had to modify my tune a little but nothing serious. - pulling hard in every gear. tuned car and tested with good results. HP tuners is a must to correct a N/A car factory tune and convert to Turbo without blowing things up. i have JDM FMU that i need to install without cutting factory lines. running open loop

mild to slightly aggressive tune but still daily driver.
