No, it's people who don't pull their head out of their ass and pay attention that cause accidents.
I've follow my friend multiple times, who mind you, has the same fully clear outers, and the only time I've ever had a problem following him was during the day with the sun shining on the back of his Cav.

caviefreak: i think they look great...........and to be honest i wouldnt shave my trunk, at least not my factory. i would by a donor trunk to do it if you decide to go that route. to me shaved trunks make it look to dull and plain. buy the way everyone with shaved inners...wherer do you relocate your reverse lights im just curious?

There is a plan in the works for my car. THere are a very select few that know how im shavieng my trunk. I can tell u this its never been done before (atleast i think it hasnet never seen it yet)

doesnt look that bad. personally i would have said screw the reverse lights...but thats just me. and mm...i like the clears. they are the only aftermarket tails i have ever had on my car. and to my knowledge, the reason that clear tails are illegal in most states is cause they dont have a red reflector. know what my solution was? get the reverse light/reflector off of a 95-99 sunfire sedan. they mounted in the rear bumper (which was the same as a cav rear....) nice and easy fix to both problems

They look sweet! I love clear tails. I dont know why people are saying that theyre illegal because theyre not. If they were Lexus wouldnt be able to sell their rx330. Not having a red reflector on the rear of your car is illegal not clear tails. If you get hassled and really wanna do something about it, get one of those license plate frames that have red reflectors on them.

Your car looks great but I dislike the rear. Between the yellow paint and the clear tails, it just looks very dull and pastel. The cool part about yellow and other bright colors on cars is the contrast of the trim. In your case, the trim is another pastel color. I think it would look a lot better if it was shaved so there was less of the trim. I'm doing a tilted plate and shaving a trunk for Jbody4life for $250 right now into primer and that includes the price of the trunk. Hit me up if you are interested in a shaved trunk for like $175. I'd be more than happy to help since I've always liked your cav.
BTW, the clear light are illegal because they don't have a red reflective strip inside of them. Painting over the red rid you of your only scape-goat.

That woudl be cause most people dont put bright bulbs in there. My tails even in the day with the sun shinning on them light up better then the stock ones. Gotta think whats gunna be brighter with the ssun a light trying to shine through somethign that is already red or a red light lighting up clear tials bright red

Its a high quality shop and did u miss the molded part. Its not jsut gunna be shaved there are a few other things getting done that will not be mentioned on here. The price is well worth the work that will be done.
