They are illegal because the stock tails have reflecors in them and on his car they are now clear or painted over. If he would have added some red reflectors it would be legal but he didn't. Either way i don't care just like i said before, it looks good.

Yeah been like that for about 3 years now
The reason i will not take that off is cause the whole reason for getting the clears and painting the inners was to get rid of the red why would i leave the 3rd brake light red?
All the lights still shine bright and the 3rd brake light still shines bright to never gotten any @!#$ over it with cops so oh well.

I had mine painted like that for the longest time, finally getting them shaved this wednesday.
I know what Matt's got on store for the trunklid and its gunna look T I T S. Its also gunna look real hott with those clear outers. Keep it up man.

100 dollars for shaving your doors holy i did mine for 20 I went to a custom chopper shop here and got plates made and Mig welded them right in i am going to do my trunk also

i never remembered any good shots of the rear of your car so i dont remember what it was like
are you gonna shave the third brake light or make it flush to the spoiler at least? it kinda looks tacky just vinyled like that, but thats your choice not mine.

i like the clears and the paint isnt a bad idea either until u get it shaved. As for the tails being illegal...they arent. just supposed to have a red reflector of sorts on the back. Damn its a good thing i got an 04 cause ive got clear outters to no and one big ass reflector across the trunk!

Look I'm tired of your bull @!#$. This all stemmed from me simply saying what ever floats your boat, but for some reason you had to turn it into a personal attack on my mods. Well let me tell you something. It only shows that both of you are being ass holes, something I wasn't trying to be.
First about my roof, I was the only one that even went though with the crazy Idea of doing a carbon fiber roof. It was beautiful for a few months until it baked out in 100+ degree weather. It's not my fault that it wasn't done exactly the right way the first time around, what matters is I had the balls to do it in the first place. I'm not crying about a little slip up, it will be fixed. Unlike you jucie, someone what, keyed your car and now taking the cheap route covering it up with nasty ass vinyl. I loved the way your car looked when I first met you but I think its hideous now. My roof will be fixed just like new before the bash, and without the use of cheap ass vinyl you can count on that.
Second Cavie Freak, I made one simple comment, in no way trying to be an ass hole, then you had to come back and flame me for my choices. I still remember when you had vinyl all over your windows, glad you finally removed that. You got a body kit, nice but you’re still sitting on stock wheels for the past year and a half? Paint our not maybe you’re going the wrong direction. Put some nice wheels on the car instead of paying for shaving? Saving money instead of painting your inners? How was I supposed to know you had a hook up and only paid 20 bucks to get them color matched, I was generalizing, and trying to give some advice. In ending, what ever floats your boat man.
I am posting this as a rebuttal and in defense of my decisions. Now let’s get back on topic.

I know of a few SEDANS that will be there this year, ME, You, and Aaron. Maybe a few more. Well atleast Bronze will match your car.

IMO you've already missed the challenge two years in a row. This year’s bash will be completely different from bashes in the past, with the new challenge of going up against sedans outside the J platform.
I am personally not in it for anyone but myself as I've told Aaron. I don't care about the show that's not what it's about. It's about meeting other J owners (and now other small gm car owners), and hanging out with friends. Trophies are a plus, yes, but over the past 3 years I've seen that they mean jack.
At this level it all comes down to money, something that is hard to hold on to, it's not the same as it was when the classes where stock or mild. I've seen cars at a local show with completely screwed up interiors take first just because they had bags and a decent looking exterior. *shrug*. Seriously I could careless at this point.
I might just display this year so I can sit back and relax instead of sweating the small stuff (especially with the changes to the classes and all). In the end it still comes down to how the owner feels about his or her car, not how other people feel about it.
