As I often do I cuse through the ads and see more and more of us selling or trading in our J's. I was would like to see other members thoughts on if they plan on trading in or selling their J's.

The only thing that would get me to trade my fire in would be an 05 Cobalt SS straight up, w/ a kit already on it...no payments, no commitments, nada...I have paid off my 04 fire, and that is the only thing that would get me to trade
if i had the money i would get rid of the car asap for a wrx. just strip my car to stock then sell all the aftermarket parts. thats the best way of doing it
im in the process of looking for a new car.....not because im sick of cavaliers, in fact i am considering a newer z24 to slap the GM charger on....but i just want something quicker, 16.8 as a best 1/4 mile is getting old
the cobalt ss is looking good, same with the ion redline i like both.....ive looked at a 98 porshe boxster till i realized how much insurance was, and a used GTO is another car im looking at
as far as parts im selling?? if i sell the car im selling it the way it is for 3500ish....ive had alot of people say they would give me that, if not more with all the aftermarket stuff on it

Ya I've been wanting to sell mine too. I don't really want to sell it but then again I would. I want to move onto something a little bigger. Im thinking an BMW or Benz. Something with a little more power. So if anybody wants to buy my car for 9,500 its all yours.

3) What lead you into doing this? have been in the car mod world for awhile and it was time for me to get out plus the car needed some work and i didnt want to do it just tired in general

I'll probably be seeling mine by the end of the week
. Already got a buyer lined up just still mulling over selling Lil' Red. She needs a new battery, Manifold -back exhaust and I think a tirerod plus a few minor things and since my wife's car is already a money pit we figure it's better to just have one instead of two. Damn I've had some good drives in that car.

I just sold mine. I got all teary eyed when I had to walk away from it. The GTS Spydar I got tho is everything that I wanted in a car, so im happy with it. I just sold my stereo, and rims thats it. The kit the intake and exhaust stayed on it. I couldn't pass up the trade-in on it cause they gave me what I owed on it. If your looking for a new car get one. You'll probally be happier.

The New Fun
Im selling my car soon (for real this time), I'm either moving to Savannah for school or starting a hod rod project. My car is mostly stock except the sunfire cluster and intake. I figure no point in going back to the stock intake but if someone whos buying it wants me to I will. I'm going fix up the ole 97 2.2 LS sedan for daily driving and if I do go towards the hot rod choice Im going for a 53 Buick Special 2 door a friend of mine has sitting. It'll look something like this but flat black, no shiny paint job, it aint going to be a show car.
So its either art school or hot rod. Cant go wrong with either right?
