Ok so apparently my clutch has been getting worse and worse over the months, and I didn't really notice it much until March 9th, when my throw out bearing was making the noise that sounded like a baseball card stuck in bicycle spokes. I got news the 14th or 15th that I got this job I was after, so I asked my mom to lend me the money for a new clutch... which I had set up to have put in on this comming Thursday.
I start my new job on the 27th, and needed to get the clutch replaced before then. The prices I got for a stock clutch was between $240 and $260 (with tax included), and I seen on Karo's site that a SPEC Stage I was just $279, plus free shipping. Sounded to me the best bet was to spend the few extra bucks and go aftermarket. So I called him up to see if there was one available right away/in stock, and he thought he did... so I ordered it on the 15th, and had to leave for Virginia the next day.
I called on the 17th (since I couldn't get to a computer to check on the order status to make sure it went through), and he had apologized because he thought he had one, and hadn't... that it would have been another week before it could be shipped out. He could have easily said "I'm sorry, but you'll have to wait another week", but he didn't. He offered me a good deal on a SPEC Stage II, and guaranteed it here by tomorrow (22nd) and it got here today!!
Some businesses out there would just say "sorry, you're going to have to wait"... but he didn't. I've never seen anything bad said about him or his business, and most know he's definately a great person to order from, but I wanted to say my thanks as well.
Tomorrow evening, I'm headin to the place that's gonna replace my clutch for me, and should have it in by Thursday, and then take my car in for inspection Friday.
So, thank you VERY much Karo!!
Karo's a good businessman, and a good friend.
ah luff ya, big guy!
I have had a few good easy transactions with Karo. He is a great businessman. Good Job!!

ive ordered several items from the man... and well.... he's the man!!!
Yeah it took a really long time to get my Wideband to me because he was out of stock and had some other issues to deal with. He tried to do whatever he could to make me a satisfied customer, I was just glad he was straight forward with me and did what he could, completely honest guy who often goes out of his way for you when not required to do so.

Karo is a good guy. Even bought me lunch one time when I was helping Eric work on his car. LOL
I got my B&M short shifter through him, when he was having family issues. He made sure to update me as often as he could. that's always a plus in my book.

Order my car mounts from his GP and they were to me in less than a week. It's good to know that we have such awesome dealers here on JBO.

Karo has always came through when something comes up, he NEVER just brushes you off.
And you're welcome for the Seprentine belt too. Sorry Karo, you're not the only good guy around here.
I'll have to look into that, a clutch from Karo, I'll need at least a stage 3, possibly more.
Most retailers on the net wont let you know if there is a problem with your order, you have to look them up for yourself. He had problems with an order I made and he sent me the e-mail to let me know what was wrong and when it would be taken care of. Most companies won't/don't do that. Just outstanding customer service!
BTW, he even sent my order next day air on him!
Karos a good guy.
He let me exchange an aem intake years and years ago because it had a weird 'bubble' in the paint(something most people could care less about) and he happily sent me a new one.
karo is good people......got my 370 injectors from him in no time..........PROPS TO KARO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know, I just feel good about doing something nice for a fellow J owner (well, at least a fellow Quad4 owner)
