Hello everyone,

Just wanted to give a heads up about this guy. He owns Streetside Speed and Custom, and is one hell of a horrible seller.

Around the end of January we made a deal for a double gauge pod he was selling in the classifieds, I had paypaled him $35 bucks American, not very much, but thats not the point. After I paypaled him the funds, I wrote him a email saying that I had the sent the funds, he sent an email back saying he recieved the funds and that it would be shipped out the following day via usps. That was the last email I have gotten from him and now its March. He has ignored all my emails and PM's about trying to work this out, still no reply. And I have also noticed that he's been active on the site and making posts, weird?

I just wanted to let everyone know not to do business with him, he may have possibly been a good seller for other people, dont really know? But I just wanted to warn people about his actions now.

yea, chris is a good guy. i know he is busy with something (school, work, etc.). you shouldn't have anything to worry about. im sure after nikki talks to him, you'll get an email very soon. good luck wayde!!!!!

Sorry About this waders I shipped the pod out sometime in late january but must have gotten the address wrong got returned to me like week or week and half later then I have had a lot of personal issues going on and my head hasnt been with it! So heres what I'm going to do my next available day I can ship this pod is wed. I'm going to ship this pod up there and in the box will be the pod and a refund check for $35 just for all the hassles you went through.

If this doesnt sound good please dont hesitate to email me or post here. Sorry about this and I hope that this wont push you away in the future from purchasing from us.

Chris, thats no problem man, but you could've atleast emailed me saying what the problem was...I wasnt aware of anything of that.

ahh, the ole 'wrong address' scapegoat...

It happens... I've shipped to the wrong address after printing the label out, turns out I was given the wrong address.

@!#$ happens guys, it happens to us....im just happy that Chris came on here and apologized and offered to give me the pod along with my money back...

that takes balls, especially on the ORG where he could've had a new ass torn. lol

Wrong address happen. my brother tried to ship something out to me when I was deployed and wrote the address down wrong or I typed it wrong. So its not a scape goat at all it happens to the best of us. Just let his new attempt to make things right play out before you pass judgement on him. This is the first time I have seen anything bad on here about him since he came here and started selling things. So cut him some slack he is only human and is making the attempt to right his mistake.

what about the ignoring emails? being online and posting on JBO but not replying to his PM's? He's finally done the right thing, I'll give him credit for that, but you guys make him out to be squeaky clean...hope everything is settled soon and you get your gauge pod.

I bought over $500 worth of gauges, pods, and other stuff from him without any hiccups.

Hes a good guy, and I know he has work, school, and business to run, so I say if he made one mistake with all that in the past few months, good job.

idk about you, but i do the same thing. maybe u just have too much time on your hands, but some people are limited. alot will notice this is my first time on JBO in at least a couple weeks i think, and most will also note ive been a daily poster here for almost 3 years. things come up. time is limited. especially at this time of year when re-builds are coming close to completion and deadlines are growing short.

heck ill come on here just to look at the regional posts real quick, and never once even look at my PM's or email. just cus it usually takes more time than i have to spend.

as it was already said he is a busy person and has a lot to deal with. give him time. i will talk to him when i see him next
also on a side note - i'm on about 7 different car forums and this one by far has the most impatient and rude people i have ever met. it seems as tho some people on come on here to find someone who slipped up and then jump on them for it. shipping takes time and there are delays. you cant expect to get something 2 days after you order it unless you pay for overnight or 2 day delivery. its just ridiculous some of the things that i see on JBO that would never happen on other sites. the people on this site need to grow up and learn to respect others. this is the only site where i have even seen a thread like this, calling someone out over a $35 guage pod, seriously dude, wtf!

He's already been waiting for it since January. Plus when Wayders made that post on Sunday, it had already been 7 business days since he said he was going to ship it. I can ship to Europe in 7 business days.

well to be completely honest its been over 2 weeks, but who's counting?

i know he's going through some personal issues, but i have been waiting since janurary....it may only been a 35 dollar gauge pod but im trying to make a point here....and im not trying to make any enemies at all. and i really dont think im jumping on anyone on here about anything...we made a deal, he slipped up...case closed.

and i do agree, ppl need to grow up on this site...but if your referring to me? lol...cmon...just trying to make a point (if you havent already read that)

you just need to calm down, lol, and maybe think a little about what you said.
