Cavilier on camaro frame
Thursday, December 20, 2007 10:54 AM
ok guys me and a few friends here got a idea of taking a 1990 chevy cavilier with a 3.1 v6 4door and setting it on a camaro frame.. i know we would have to do a little work to get it to work but we was going to make the front end a little long to fit the camaro motor in it.. and make it a rear wheel drive car... it sounds crazy but i have talked to a few people and they said the 4 door should fit on the camaro frame if we can find one that is just as long as the cavilier or we would have to make the front a little long.... im posting this to get some ideas of wat all you guys would think and get some ideas from all you... its pretty much going to be a showcar but like a one of a kind car... it sounds werid but i think we can figure it out but cooment on anything your guys would have to say or anything you guys have to put in this let me know...

thanks
jeff & shana

dam whats the world coming to

first vortex when vortec shoulda been used

not the worst ever offense , misspelling cavalier

camaro is a unitard , just like the cavalier , which means no frame to swap

thank you....

you'd think if you even thought about attemting something like this you would do a little research first....

i think the lack of frame would be a major issue

you could fabricate a frame for each car then swap them out.

there are allready a couple of rear wheel drive v8 cavaliers out there as well.

i seen it done. well basically a 1st gen z24 onto a S 10 frame. sorta. how he made it work is beyond me. but runs and drives and wins burn out contests. tubular front end. the guy who did it is a redneck and drinks alot of beer.

Anybody can change the title, unfortunately... just look up from the box you type your post into and see the Subject line, its editable.
