I just wanted to make it known to all that this person is a thief and stole $100 bucks from me.
They posted in the Classified section a Venom Fuel rail which I was interested in, sent this person money via PayPal, and never got the product after repeated tries.
This person has also corresponded with me saying it was shipped, shipped again, and then blaming the shipping company that the package never made it.
No tracking information was given at all.
Here is proof that this person is a member on the JBO with their profile page listing.
NEVER EVER DEAL WITH THIS PERSON.
THEY ARE A THIEF.
I WAS VERY PATIENT WITH THIS PERSON AND TO NO AVAIL.

No, I didn't file a claim with PayPal because of all the rigamarole that is involved.
I've been waiting since around Christmas.
I've given up on this and even given them time to ship it out to me.
Nothing but excuses have been given and I told them that if they can't send me the product, that they can take the money while I call them a thief.
They apparently have no conscience and thought that if said thief were to come onto the JBO to post, they'd see that I've noted the said thievery to his peers.
In all of my 8 years of buying from here and other forums, I've only been screwed twice with this one being the second time around.
It's ashamed that people have to be so callous to do things like this.
I've wrote this off, put this in the record books, and wanted everyone to know that Clathyn Williams(clay3) is a thief, and to never be trusted.
I'm also sorry to inconvenience everyone on the JBO with this petty bullsh*t too.

I just filed a claim today and we'll see what happens.
It's ashamed I have to go this route to get product or keep someone honest.
Thanks again for the encouragement to go through the claim process.

that sucks man....but unfortunately, i highly doubt paypal will even look into it as its been almost 3 months. they usually only go 45 days out i think.

I got screwed over back in november for $100 and they wouldn't do anything about it since it was over 45 days..it really sucks and is really annoying that someone would do that @!#$..
45 days isn't that long for a transaction to go through.
Unless this person had planned this in advance, known about the PayPal 'grace period' per se, then 45 days just isn't enough time.
It should be more but then again, it's the first time I've ever had a claim against anyone.
I'm not really worried about the money, it's the issue of ones integrity, and keeping their word on a transaction.
But like I've previously noted, some just are callous to this notion and prey upon peoples good nature.

yeah man u really cant be to careful with the JBO classifieds now a days... i get scams all the times through my email with people trying to get me to use their shipping comany and send them money and get extra money and BLAH. i just say 'nice try' and hit delete.
i will not buy from anybody that is not a known member that's here a decent amount and has people that can vouch for them.

any time i buy something from a forum i always ask if the person is will to set up an ebay auction for the item. ebay+paypal at least gives a LITTLE more security.

If someone hant shipped something to me and had tracking info within a week, I WOULD file a complaint then. I have no patience and no mercy when it comes to dealing with People on the classifieds. AND I have bought LOTs.

Update.
Out ot no where, a package shows up at the door.
It's the fuel rail which was shoddily packaged but in good condition.
There's been no communication with this person in well over a month and a total of 3 months since the purchase.
And now here is the package. Can you say wtf??
So in an effort to make things right, I'm going to e-mail this person to let him know that the package has arrived and thank him for the product, although it's a long time to receive it.
I almost feel bad for this thread but then again, I don't like the way the whole transaction came about and could've been bette resolved.
Thanks everybody for their feedback and kind words and I guess sometimes with enough pressure from different sources, people will realize it's not worth doing someone wrong.

You know what I got after a month.....a box of books instead of an $800 turbo off ebay. Since the seller had provided tracking, and I filed as an item not received...I got the big paypal bone in my butt....
For some reason, if you file a non-reciept claim....the seller can send you a box full of monkey pooh, and thats all that matters to paypal. I fought it with the Police in both my area and the sellers, plus my bank, and ended up getting $750 of $800 back, but I REALLY had to fight for a LONG time. My bank ended up having to take PayPal to court.
Ebay and Paypal are NOT as secure as they seem....
