So I went to wash my car today and noticed that a piece of my grill mesh is gone, anyone know where I can get some? It is really good mesh, I love it and don't know where to get some to match the rest. It came with my kit and I love how it looks, not like gutter guard, very shiney and no corrosion or anything like that and it is a few years old. I need some replacements.
Can I buy some????
If so how much?
Or does anyone have a piece?
Please and thanks in advance.
for the type-j kit? im pretty sure i have at least 2 maybe all 3 pieces in my garage. which piece do you need?
1 of the side pieces for the front bumper. Yes the Type-J
If you have it, how much are you willing to part with it for?
idk, throw me an offer. no clue what this stuff is worth.
but i know for a fact i have at least 1 of the side pieces
when i had the streetfire front, my mesh sucked. it was sturdy but it rusted like hell and looked like ish
Their mesh is awesome, now the bumpers you attach them to is another story

I believe rksport sells the mesh fit for front and rear bumpers for like 70 bucks or something, and everything they have is 15% off right now
thats still too much to pay for f'n mesh though
Never said it wasnt, I was just throwing it out there since he said he liked the rk stuff
sand blast and powdercoat?

Did you find out for sure if you have the mesh? If so will $20 be enough for it?
I recommend having all the mesh powdercoated, I bought a set from Samantha on here after she sold her car that she already had powdercoated silver. It looked a million times better than without it. I never got to put it on the car tho, I took the Type J kit off and sold it to someone and gave them the extra mesh along with it when I was planning on doing a WW W Type front lip. I would definitely have them powdercoated, helps with rust from the salty a$$ michigan roads....

RK mesh is awesome.
Mine rock-chipped instantly on the '97 though, but of course it was 'blasted and 'coated and I never had a problem since. The mesh is so sturdy it helped even out the waves in the IF opening
