ok, since i've been modding my cav, i've noticed that there are a lot of people that hate on my car, which i find kinda funny, cuz most of the people that actually own and mod cavs think mine is clean and decent. i'm sure that everybody on here has stories far worse than mine, but i thought i'd start a thread on which people could share their stories of morons who hate on their car for no apparent reason.
My story: so i'm at Sheetz pumpin gas and some moron in a red Mercury Cougar yells out "ur car is gay." Ok, this idiot, first of all is in the passengers seat with his legs hangin out of the window while the car is movin. Secondly, i was like what are you in like 10th grade, i can't remember the last time i tried to insult anybody by using the word gay. Lastly, in my opinion the cougar is one of the ugliest stock cars that i've ever seen, this one had a carbon fiber hood and pretty much nothin else, so i guess that made him super modder extrodinaire.

People only hate because they want to discourage you. That factor alone mixed with Jealousy is a recipe for "Hating"...
This only has an effect when you take offence to it... I usually just thank the "hater" for their opinion... like it didn't phase me at all. That really ticks them off... lol
If that doesn't work... you can always throw eggs at them and run... J/K

this one time......after my girlfriend and i broke up......she said she hated me
I was looking into a cold air intake at work and the guy who works in parts asked me why the heck I would put a CAI on a Sunfire. Well yesterday I walked past him and he asked me "You selling that Sunfire anytime soon?". Made me feel all good inside
one time, this guy yelled out to me "hey, is that a cavalier?"
so I was like "ya man, aint it sweet?"
he was like "cavaliers are for girls"
so i was like "quit hatin' on my sweet ride"
and he was like "why did you even put money into such a piece of crap car"
so then I was like "cus i got mo' money, mo' money, mo' money than yo bitch ass"
and he was like "oh, cool"

Most people locally compliment my car because they've never seen a turbo'd Cavalier...
One story that popped into my head was when PJ came up to visit me. He was in his car, I was in mine, and my BF was in his SS and we were cruising somewhere together to take some pictures. Some kid pulled up to my BF and said that his SS was the only nice one or something, I forget the exact term he used, but basically putting mine & PJs car's down...
One time I was sitting in traffic and someone said Chevys are gay and then drove off...
Other than that no one other than my friends have really made cracks about the car, and they just do it to get me going, lol.
This thread made me realize nobody has ever given me crap for it, just some friendly teasing amongst friends. No yelling or muttered rudeness, ever.
I had a guy that drives a moped say my car was a piece of @!#$., and I replied, yeah atleast I have my license though, and I can do more than 30 MPH.
I don't really care if anyone "hates" on me...
Although one day I was really peeved off and a kid in a firebird reved on me at a red light, that resulted in me getting out of my car, taking his keys out of the ignition, and throwing them across the street...

you have to do something to your car to make people respect you. nobody is gonna respect you cause your slammed the car and put some "twannies" on it or clear corners.

Im used to it and dont really car anymore. I have two of them for people to hate on. One of them used to be quick though.

had to have been a 5spd, i honestly dont see it being possible with it being an auto since you have to put it in park to get the key out (im assuming its a newer one). unless he was a slow retard hahahaha
I go to a school in a place where there are quite a few people who have those big ole pickem up trucks and they enjoy pretty much talking crap on anyone who doesn't have stacks or some big tires. So I get crap from that. I get my fun mocking them anyways so I don't care. Like jumping in on a converstaion of theirs and ask if they'll help me put stacks on my Sunfire and just watching them stare at me.
I have people in Mustangs seriously challenge me to races because it makes them feel big when they whoop on a 4 cyl but I don't cause I'm a good boy and don't street race.
Besides that its all in good fun. . My cousins nickname for me is Speed Racer. He has a built 351 Mustang running a 150 shot so I allow it. And my friend has a black Civic and he always messes with me.

i get that crap too, also, i dunno if u guys get this but around me, there's all these idiots that drive SUVs like there corvettes, i mean i drive home from work at 2 in the morning and at least once a week a big truck or SUV likes to ride my ass, it just doesn't make much sense to me but what do i know, i'm just a fool that's putting retarded amounts of money into a cavy

I really only planned on shutting the car off, but to my luck the keys came out, so I did what any one pissed off at the world would have done...
