i just find self voting dumb. its like hey look at me. you posted pics of your car. people will nominate what they want to see. not saying you dont have a nice car. but the fact that you had to nominate yourself just doesnt make it look as good.
i can see on here already which isnt as bad but a you nominate me, ill nominate you thing.
i figure if people wanna see it, they will nominate it.

you know they do request that registry links be posted with votes ... ive yet to see this at all

I see your point, totally, however isn't putting your car in your signature just as much as a "hey look at me"? (then again im sure someone will notice that all of my car pics are in a progress thread and in my profile and say the same thing)
