Hey Guys, I am back with another j-body. The red cavalier cost me 900 bucks. 108k on it now runs and drives fine. it needed a rear wheel old one was bent so i picked one up at the junkyard for 10 bucks. 5 lug 15 inch steelies are a pain to find for our cars btw. and it needs a inner tie rod that im getting done today. it had a dc sports fart can on the back that i cut off and put the stock muffler back on. other than that the car runs and drives great.
I used to have a 06 sunfire gt that i gave to my mom when i bought my trans am. 3 years later my dad flipped it in a 25mph zone...
i bought this car for the winter since my other 2 cars are basically useless with any snow on the ground. my plans were to sell it around april but the car seems so solid i may hang on to it.
my only plans for it are tint which my tint guy went out of business so i bought some pre cut stuff on ebay and i will attempt it myself. its hard driving a car without tint anymore.
what do you guys think?

not a bad deal for 900 dollars with those miles and the shape it is in. Also, not trying to be mean, but the sunfire's last year was 2005, but how do you flip a car in a 25mph zone?
also, what year is the new one?
I meant 96 sunfire gt lol
And new one is a 98

Looks like a pretty clean car for $900. Should last you awhile.
Thanks guys.
Just pulled 31.5mpg with 80%highway and some traffic on 15% of that highway. Rest was regular city. Not bad for the 3spd auto

Looks like my "Hottie," (1st Gen), only different. And Phantoms, I'd suggest, rather than worrying about "snow on the ground'" ditch the ground and head WEST. I did. Hottie has NO RUST, and set me back $250. . . . .
BTW, your profile doesn't indicate, but the photo sure looks like Ohio--which is the ground I ditched. Actually, I plan to get a place there again, but flip between there and Cali
wish cars around here were that clean
