I’m almost finish and here we go the timing chain don't go on? should I have the tensioner shoe on? b/c I do
, it's on my 97 Z, if anyone can help me with this it would be gratefully appreciate
Now I know nothing about timing chains and the such but wouldn't you want to tension it AFTER you got it on???

i fell like smacking myself but it's too hot it'll have to wait lol
I have never done one of these ones, but on Nissans, you need to push the tensioner in and hold it using a paperlcip so it doesnt spring outwards. During reinstall, you remove the paperclip when you have the chain on
