I'll give you guys/gals everything I know -- this is actually for a friend.

They have a 1996 Z24 that is not firing on 2 and 4. There are no codes and the check engine light is not on. The coils and coil mod. have been changed and he has determined that it is not the crank or cam sensor. He has also changed the plugs.

2 and 4 are "wet;" obviously not burning fuel.

Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions on what it could be before he brings it to GM?

Coil hausing is the cursed part, should have started by replacing it, I am on my third...hope this one last longer, seems to me it gets fried when you really push the car to its limits.
