Im curious if the front and rear (before/after cat) can be interchanged. I have a front laying around from my '02 sunfire that Id like to try and use in the cat of my '02 cav.

I know id have to cut and splice the sensor in, which is no problem, I just want to be sure itll work before i go ahead and do it.


Im getting a CEL because of the 2nd o2 sensor, which is why I want to try this possible swap.

If the one that you have is a heated O2 sensor (4 wire), then it will interchange.

Yes they both are.
