my car just starts missing out of the blue, its a 96 2.2, and i was wondering if anywone thought it could be a egr valve or maybe an oxygen sensor, i done replaced almost everything else. any info would be appreciated. thx.

a lil more info, when it starts missing, if i cut the key and kill the engine and turn the key back on and pop the clutch, the problem goes away for a while. and right now it doesnt have a thermostat, but when i put one in it, it misses all the time and even sometimes when i pop the clutch it still does it. i done replaced the coil packs, can it be the ignition control module? maybe its getting to warm and shorting out? any suggestions plz. thx.
