I'm getting a p0106 code and on me reader in the book it says that it is something about bank1 2nd o2 sensor heater malfunction. Something like i got the code a few days ago and i'm pretty sure that was the number. i look it up on here and on here it says something to do with the map senor. What could it be? Because i have gotten that code and another on and in my book said bank 1 o2 sensor lean and i cleared after putting a new o2 in it and never got that one and then i get this one and i cleared it and my light is back on but haven't checked the code yet. Um i have noticed that now and then when cruisng through town about 25 it wil drop down to about 500 rpms and go up to about 1200. It does this with out giving it gas if i give it a lil it will be fine. Does that problem sound like what ever the code is for.. thanks
Do you know which o2 Sensor has the heater malfunction? Find out which one it is, (the scanner will say.) Then check the wiring over for corrosion, damage etc. Also test between the wires for continuity in the circuit to the o2 sensor. If you can't find anything then you will most likely have to replace the o2 sensor.
