today my buddy and i took apart his dash to clean the cluster and run some wires. when we put the dash back together we set the speedo needle to zero and continued on. after we got the top dash on we realized that the needle was at 10mph. now on my 98 cavy, if you move the needle, it would reset to zero on start up. on his, when the engine is off/ just started it will read well below the zero line, and we have established that it is 10mph off. his 0mph is his actual 10mph. craziness. lol. just wondering how to reset it so 0 = 0. thanks guys.

why would u need to clean the inside of a cluster?? especially touching the needles?? sounds dumb to me u may have to buy a new cluster.. mids well get a sunfire one anyway// u can try turning the key and putting the needle on 0 i suppose if that doesnt work u broke it
