ok one of my lower ball joints went bad on my 96 cavalier. so i got both replaced due to they were OE and they both were pretty beat up. so i took it in to get fixed and get an alignment done on it. the mechanic said that the inner and outer tie rod ends had a little play in them so the alignment is not 100%. now heres my issue... a day before i took my car in i was backing out of a parking spot and when i took off and turned my wheel to the left it felt as if the power steering was working against me. not like i didn't have it, but was almost impossible to turn. then i started driving a little bit more and realized it wasn't doing it when i turned right. after that i got my car in the shop thinking it was the ball joint but the problem still occurs. have any of you ran into this issue or have an idea what could be causing my car to only turn right at slower speeds?
