Merry Christmas,Happy Hanukkah & Kwanzaa to all
I have a 99' auto 2.4. I am hearing a new tapping sound from possibly the bottom end of engine.
I know during colder months there is more chatter in our cars but, it is only maybe 65 F at coldest
in my garage. Thank you Florida. It sounds like about 4-5 taps per second and it's not very loud but,
I can hear it over the normal valve tap the 2.4 has inside the car and looking under the car it really is
pronounced. It only does it for about 3-5 minutes when I start the car and warm it up or drive and then
it goes away. If I let it sit for a hour or two it will do the same on start up. The closest thing the search
came up with was a wrist pin and that said it was more prominent on acceleration.
Any help is deeply appreciated, Thanks.

Need to bump this, it's getting worse/louder and I don't want a pile of metal and a new bill to start the new year with.
