car starts when jumped..runs then dies

It has something to do with the battery...i get it jumped...it runs and then all eletrical goes, clock shuts off lights, everything it will still run but runs rough and like crap.....i think it has to do with the alternator because my battery light comes on, and my battery goes bad every couple weeks....

Sounds to me u got a bad alternator, If you got a multi meter tester would, Be good to have, Then u could test the battery see if it has enough 12.5 volts without a load, Then see if the alternator is wornout, In which is, Just makes it lil easier to figure out.

ya thats what i think...im going to replace the alternator..and do the big three upgrade because i run a stereo and its cold here so i think ill just do the big three and alternator to get me through till summer..thanks for the advice

weird mine is doing the same. I just got a hi output alternate and now it wont start whatsoever. I pulled a spark plug out and tested it and no spark so I am debating hmmmm either bad wires, bad distribution, or im not sure yet.

hmm..yea i replaced my alternator...i went basic because honestly im just trying to baby it through until i buy the balt ss...but now it runs fine
