i havwe thid problem it causes the car to sputter brought the car to midas the checked the cel codes and said there was a misfire in 2 and 3 cylinder does anyone know what the numbers on the coil are i think its a coil its at the end of the plug wires thanks
a little info as to what kind of car, year, motor, etc would be very helpful

bad coil would be my guess. 2.4 often have problems with coils and icm's because of heat soak if it does turn out to be a coil either just replace it or search the neon coil swap or a 2.2 coil swap there both easy and effective.

If my memory serves me right its 1 2 and 3 4. But before u start changing coils, look at the plastic piece (under the metal cover) that connects to the spark plugs, I know those things are very prone to cracking and causing misfires, mostly at the bottom near the spark plugs themselfs. If that's not cracked, then its the coils. Goodluck!
