Tach Going Down When Accelerating

I have a 2005 Sunfire, and I have a problem.

When I push on the gas pedal at a certain position(1500-2000RPM) the tachometer needle will drop about 400RPM. It doesn't feel like it's the transmission, but I do feel a slight bogging. Also, sometimes when I am within the first 10MPH after a start up(cold or hot) the car is really jumpy feeling, and doesn't want to run right. The power doesn't feel quite like it did when I bought the car also.

I have right at 70,000 miles on the odometer if that helps anything.

Try changing the spark plugs.

Air filter ever been changed? Fuel filter ever been changes? Plugs ever been changed?

If you aren't getting a CEL I would start with the general tune up idea.

Plugs and filters are a good start.
