The ignition control module on my 2004 chevy cavalier keeps going out. i have replaced it 2 times in the last three month and yesterday it died again. Was hopeing someone on here might have a clues as to why it keeps happining the car has a 2.2liter Ecotec 4cylinder 120,000 miles other than the Ignition control module craping out she runs fine.
Are you replacing it with a gm ignition module? In my past experience you are better off using factory electrical parts.
I keep having the same problem why does this do this
buy one with a lifetime warranty. borg warner makes great ingnition parts.

All stock...........lol.
Do you have AC Delco plugs?
Its odd so many people have issues with their moduels, I have the original one at 80k and I've owned it since new
- 2004 Cavalier - 124k, owned since new
How do you check the module? Are you talking about the unit on top of the motor?
