okay so i have a 1999 z-24 cavalier. this problem has been going on for over a year now and no one can tell me what is wrong. if it is hot outside (35 degrees or higher) then i will get in my car and drive it initially for about 10 minutes and then it will just shut off and die-then i have to sit there for about 2 minutes and then it will restart and then i can go for about 2 more minutes and it will die and take 2 minutes to restart and then i can drive for 2 more minutes and so on and on and on. now if it is cold outside the car will not die at all-it is fine. please please help with this problem if you know anything-this car has almost gotten me killed several times by some people coming up fast behind me while it is stalled out and rear ending me very hard. i need help.
it could be a battery problem check your battery cables or it could be a fuel pump or fuel filter problem
