rear brakes HELP

ok i have a 1997 cavalier z24 . and when my braks are cold i hit the breaks hard i have no problem but as soon as they start heating up my rear braks stat to lock up allmost like the abs is coming on but the abs light doesnt come on .and it only seems to be coming from the rear

I had problems with my rear brakes for a long time. The resolution ended up being using Delco shoes.

yea i have been told that sometime you can get shoes that r to soft . but once you replace them they will be fine

is this true?

How old are youre rear brakes? You some people say its the brand of brakes that could be a factor, I thin the problem you are having something is binding up, I would recommend doing a complete brake job replacement, New brake shoes, Spring shoe kits, New wheel cyl's, By changing those keys parts, You will have no issues with youre rear braking system, Ive just did my complete rear brake job on my 01 cavalier, Things are just like brand new when bought it off the my 01 cavalier off the car lots.
