Hey im new here and first posted in the Newbie area and didnt get much info on my problem. So i figured its more of a maintenance problem anyway. My car is a 95 Sunfire with the 2.2 and a 5 speed. I believe it to have clogged injectors as it sat for 8 months prior to my buying it. The car likes to hesitate a lot (very bad under 2 grand) however it is not there at WOT. There is a noticeable popping sound in the exhaust when at idle too. I just put new plugs in it and the air filter is not dirty. The car also is idling at about 1100 when at temperature. So my questions to you are what could be causing my high idle? And are my injectors causing my hesitation? If so what is the best way to clean them? thanks.
