Here's what I've done so far...
-Replaced the fuel pump with a brand new '95 S10 Blazer pump(also replaced the tank with a brand new Spectre one since the stocker had a pinhole from rust)
-Swapped the coil packs with those from a '00 22k mile 2200
-Swapped the ECM with one from a '99 copy of my car at PicknPull
Yesterday, I drove into town(approximately fifteen miles) and got halfway back when the car died. The last few weeks it's done this but usually started right back up when I put it in neutral or pulled to the side of the road. It still won't start today and it always seems to cut out on the way back home, especially when it's hot out. The temp never gets much above 195 so I don't think it's an overheating problem. The plugs have 30k miles on them so I don't really know where to go from here. I'm going to drop the tank and check the fuel pump but I'd greatly appreciate some insight as to where to go from here.
Is there a better way to clamp the fuel line to the new pump? I used a small metal clamp after cutting the line attached to the stock pump but I didn't know since it looked heatshrinked on to the stock pump.
