I own a 01 Cavalier and it was just over 100,000. I heard this is a generic problem with most cavaliers and I want to know what's up.

My engine make a clicking sound when running, my boyfriend says it sounds like a tractor, just quiter. It's not too loud but it is noticable.


Also, when I hit bumps something near the front of my car squeeks, I thought is was the axel but I really have no clue.


Can anyone help me?
