How to get to oil filter
Sunday, July 26, 2009 2:14 PM
Tonight I plan on changing the oil and filter in my 97 cavalier. I know where the oil filter is, but I'm trying to figure out how to get to it. It looks like a pain in the butt where it is. Its the 2.2L, anyone have any advice/suggestions?

jack up the passenger side, turn the wheel to the left full lock, stick your arm behind the tire, and it'll be full of filter.

either that, or I sometimes go from the top, behind the power steering pump.
