Hey guys.
I need some help replacing the ICM on my 96 2.2L. Do I need to completely remove the intake manifold? If so can anyone direct me as to how exactly I can? I'm used to working on my 2.4L LD9 and this 2.2L is driving me nuts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
get to it from underneath. jack up the whole font of the car, get under, look up at the backside. three bolts takes the whole thing off, coils come with it. then, transplant the coils to tne new icm, bolt it back up.

completely unnessary, and you end up buying gaskets that you dont have to. seriously, jack the car up, crawl under and look at the backside of your engine, put your hand out right in front of you, it'll have two coil packs and an icm in it.

uhh... its nowhere near the oil pan. the only thing i can see possibly getting in the way is the transmission... but even then, there's plenty of room.
