I have a 2004 Sunfire automatic. Lately I've noticed that its late shifting into 4th when you are light on the gas. It holds it in 3rd all the way up to about 65/70 km/h before switching to 4th. It used to switch to 4th a lot sooner.
I never noticed this before, it just started doing it recently. Should I be concerned?
I do all regular maintenance by the book, I just had the tranny flushed and put new fluid in this past summer.
The car has only 91,000kms
Should I be concerned?? There really isn't anything "wrong" its just not performing the same way it was. Is this a small problem that will turn into a can of worms?? Or is this common with these cars and I just have never paid attention to it (doubtful)

It never did this before the transmission flush?. If not i think the flush has caused this problem. Could need a new transmission in the near future.
Check the fluid level... first step.
