1st off the car is a 2003 cavalier 1sv, 5-speed with these engine mods.
* Eaton M62 S/C
* Nate's 3.1" pulley
* GM Stage 2 belt
* OTT Dualpass endplate
* Cobra heat exhanger
* LSJ injectors
* "Custom" intake w/ K&N filter
* GM Reflash
* RKsport spark plug springs
* RKsport upper and lower engine mounts
* TTR solid tranny mounts
The problem:
The car will randomly throw fits where it has no power and i mean randomly. The first time it happened i was pulling away from a stop sign after driving the car for 20 minutes w/o a problem. Other times it has done it halfway home from work and just yesterday it did it as soon as i pulled out of the parking lot from work. When it does it the car doesnt even have enough power to get out of its own way.
Engine temp doesnt matter, ambient air temp doesnt matter, throttle position doesnt matter, the M62 still hits the same PSI, and the biggest kicker is that if i pull over shut the car off and restart it it stop and runs normally. My wideband is sitting in my room waiting to be installed next month and i am running the stock ACDelcos gapped to 32ish. I just bought a catch can so i can ditch the "ricer filter" on my PCV that has coated the area of the engine in oil(including the #1 injector). My TMAP sensor which in located below the #1 injector is oil free. The car ran fine for 3-4 months with only the high idle issue before this happened.
I have no clue if CELs are thrown when it happens because my car idles high enough that it constantly pops the high idle CEL(thanks GM crapflash). I
was going to try to get the CELs checked today, but due to my positive battery terminal coming undone on my way to work last night all my CELs have been cleared.
Because I have not been able to find
any common occurrence and the fact that the car is fine after a shut-off/restart I am leaning towards my ECM and the craptastic GM reflash.
Forgive me if i left out needed info or if my thoughts seem to be all over the place(i just got off a 12 hour nightshift).

Well first need to get CEL's checked. That could tell alot. Also need wideband on too. Have you checked the plugs lately?
FU Tuning
With those engine and tranny mounts, you may be throwing the knock sensor for a loop there. If you can, try and get a live scan tool. not the cheap pos that autozone sells or scans with. Watch the live data and see if the timing is being retarded, you can also watch on a dmm (AC), however far more difficult to do so. If you're seeing major spikes in the dmm or noticing your timing retarding on the scan tool, wire in a 100 ohm resistor in line with the knock sensor.
Good luck.
