Does anyone know if these engines have any bugs that hit at high mileage? I have 110,000 on my 04 5spd cavi and I just want to make sure I am prepared for any catastrophic failures.

i only have 45000 on mine but my cousin has 144000 on his and no major problems just the usual preventative measures like oil ,spark plugs, and other fluid changes.

The only thing i've heard mentioned, is the timing chain even though there is no mileage interval for it. With 144,000 on the clock i don't know, maybe the original chain can last a full 200,000 miles i've got 135,000 on my 04 Ls sedan 2.2 eco really i've never had any serious problems with it. But then again i try and make a habit of doing a scouting trip, you know look at it every once in awhile check things out if a belt or something has obvious cracks or looks worn out etc catching problems before they become a complete breakdown is the best way to go.
