Sounds to me Seethru, Youre a little confused with the suspension setup, If you need to replace rear suspension on 01 Cavalier you are needing Struts for the suspension on this vehicle.
Good Luck.
ok good to know, as soon as i get a little further ahead that was going to be one of my future plans for my car the suspension, since suspension on my car is stil original and the car has almost 138k on it so it's not shocks then it's struts on both the front and back. Or is it shocks on the front and struts in back, also are struts fairly pricey.
Struts at all four corners. Figure about $250 for 4 struts with mounts. Might be a little more depending on where you live. KYB GR2's are very good replacement struts. You can get them at most part stores or from Rock Auto online.
That's good to know, thanks for the advice there Chris.
Whoa, sorry to make you repeat yourself Chris, i just scrolled up the page a bit and saw where rich already said all J bodies have struts at all 4 corners guess it's time to go to bed if i missed that lol.
