when i start my car and rev it a few times everything (including the headlights, dashlights, taillights, cd player, etc) flickers on and off and all the warning lights come on (check engine, ABS, Airbag, Seatbelt, Theft, Brake, etc)... i checked the battery lines - they were okay. i checked the battery with a voltmeter while reving the car and it stays at a constant 13.6 volts, no change in voltage what so ever.

if anyone could help me, or give me some advice i would really appreciate it!

I alternator could be charging, Battery could have a dead cell, Whats the reading on the battery with the engine off 12.5 volts? I would change the battery if its older then 4 years old.

it's an optima red top. measures 12.7 volts when car is off. alternator is charging the battery.
