On my 2004 cavalier the light just randomly comes on. I can hit dimmer switch and that will make it turn off but it will come back on later. Anybody else have this problem?
Sounds like you got a corrioded door pin switch, Try twisting the pin switch, See that frees up the road dirt and grime should turn off.
