so my trac off light came on yesterday while in just drive i have an auto 2200 01, i havent noticed any problems with it shiftin or anything like that, and no cel either anyone know what could be wrong? is it something i should worry about?

i have noticed that these cars go into like a type of "safe mode" if their is any problems with it. mine came on once when i had an exaust leak the doughnut gasket was bad i changed it then it was ok, it will also come on if theirs a bad sensor or not enough voltage to a sensor, did you hook up an amp/subs? that can draw alot of power. some sensors i also noticed will not throw a code but can be bad, like knock sensor, also test the o2 sensor by hooking up a volt gauge to it, the voltage should read between 250-950 milivolts any more or less its an o2 sensor. but if it aint shifting hard or running bad then its prolly nothing major. also have you been spinning the tires exesivly lately? my buddys cavi did the same thing when he was trying to smoke'em. also this may sound stupid but is the hand break all the way down?

i made sure the break was down all the way first thing i checked, im guessin it was nothin cuz it went away finally (a day and half latter several car starts too)
