when my oil sending unit was leaking oil (got it replaced already), this wire keeps popping off its hook, can someone tell what this is and whats its job? and why it keeps unhooking itself whenever i hook it back on. its next to the wire that gets pulled when u press on the gas. help please thank you! this is an old pic of the engine.

ya its cruise control... does anything look wrong with the latch? or does it look pretty healthy haha
There should be some plastic tabs.When you take cables off you squeeze them with pliers.When you put cables back on you use a screwdriver to pry those tabs apart.So it doesnt slip threw the hole.Make sure the other end is popped on the throttle control lever.
thats the problem the end keeps popping off the throttle body control lever.
rig it up.. i cant really picture how its on there, but im sure its nothing a little metal wire couldnt fix.. lol
Or just take the whole damn thing off... if your like me and forget to use it anyways.. haha
