Hopefully someone can help.

I had to replace the heater core in my daughters 2000 2.2 2 dr. To do it I had to remove the dash and in the process broke off the 3(?) wire connecter at the top right of the instrument cluster. I don't know if it's the reason why but when I start the car it runs for 2 sec and dies. I have done the leave ign. on for 10 min 3 times thing with no success which makes me believe my broken connector is a problem. Now I did remove and reinstall the radio (factory) both air bags in the process too.
