2004 Cavalier 2 door, center jack point?

Yes, I've seen all the posts about raising the one side then the other, but I must be the only one who's afraid to do that.

So, this is the first car in the 25 years I've owned cars where there's not an obvious center point for jacking up the front end in one fell swoop.

All I can see is what looks like the trans-axle housing. Is that tough enough to use? I don't see a cross member. Maybe it's behind the engine?

I always use the radiator support bar...

It runs right behind that plastic flap that directs air into the radiator... Directly under the radiator.

Ive been doing it for years w/ no prob. Just gotta make sure the jack in on there properly- real easy to miss.

Is it safe to jack the rear cross member?

My wife's 2003 Ecotec 2.2 liter Sunfire:
* 2 1/4 inch in and dual 2 inch out muffler Trans Am muffler
* 2 1/4 piping to a very long 2 1/4 inch resonator
* 2 1/4 inch catalytic converter
* an AEM true cold air intake NOPI edition
* 8 gauge ground wire kit
* Toyz front strut brace
* Russell stainless steel brake lines all around.
