Flex pipe?

I'm putting A new exhaust on my car and need to know if I NEED to put a flex pipe on. I don't have new mounts

You can do a spring loaded flange if you don't want to do a flex pipe. But you'll need a manifold with one on it. (I'm using the HO EX manifold from a Quad 4)

You should consider filling your motor mounts with windshield urethane, it is cheap, easy and and will be stiffer than original therefore eliminating vibration/flex problems.

If you live in Canada like I do it can be found at Canadian Tire, Speedy Auto,Home Hardware or any Windshield repair location...Almost any place that sell 3M products,even Wal-Mart I believe.

just get the poly upper and lower mounts. even just the upper insert will help immensely.
