I have a 96 z24 with the 2.4 and it is time for either a rebuild or a swap. any one know around how much it would cost to swap a cobalt ss engine or a ion redline engine in? Or would it be better to get a eco and build it up? and how much would that be?
Im not a 2.4 fan. Seems so unreliable. Ive swapeped many, and they all seem to blow head gaskets and ignition covers ( with all the insides). It may be better to rebuild with better parts, cuz stock seems to fail.
