ABS and Brake lights on

I have a 98 Sunfire with the 2.2 in it, 3 speed auto, and 155k.

It has always been a good car but randomly I started it this last winter and the Brake and ABS lights were on in the dash. I've been driving it this way for about 7 months and have not seen a change in drivability or the way it brakes (besides the ABS not working, but I really don't care since I hate ABS anyway). I'm not sure how to fix this and would at least like to see the Brake light go away. I do know that my car needs a brake flush, have one scheduled for next week. Any other suggestions?

Sounds like it's time to delete your ABS. Read these two threads...

They should answer your questions.

Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.

Great idea. Never even thought of it before. Thank you!
