I have a 99 cav race car that won't rev past 4000 rpm after about five laps. I have replaced the ignition module and fuel pump with no change. A scan revealed nothing unusual. I am wondering if I have a crank sensor going bad.
What exactly did you replace on the Ignition? did you do coils too?.. I wouldnt suspect spark issues if it ran fine up to 4k How are your injectors? those could be an issue as well.

Idk what car your driving but my 99 revs as high as it wants in any gear till 5th when the speed limiter comes into play around 4k And I dont think he is racing at over 100mph in a cavy
