Spark plug gap.

Hey I was wondering what my spark plug gap should be on my 95 2.2L cav.? They are NGK iridium IX or whatever there called and ive been told to put it to 0.60 but that seems a bit to much to me. Its a oval track race car with intake, header, exhaust, and solid mounts so I was thinking a bit smaller of a gap because I am matted full out all the time, but I am not exactly sure....

Thanks,

Nope, that's correct! Factory's required gap is .060" on the LN2. In-fact: When I ran a full MSD system on my '88 Ramcharger, gaping the plugs to stock worked out well. Got 30,000mi between changes, and still got a 20% increase in mileage! Just had to use the most durable plugs I could find at the time (Champion Truck Plugs) and all was fine.

Go beyond the "bolt-on".
