Hahahaha. Seriously, If I cant find out wtf is going on, Im going to burn the damn thing lol. Ok. So about a month ago I figured out that the blower motor doesnt work in my girls car. Well, come to find out it actually does, just not the way GM had intended it to work. With the car ON and running, with the vent selector in any spot, the blower will not work on ANY speed. Now, here is the kicker. With the Key Off engine OFF, and key litereally sitting in the seat next to you, if you put the vent selector in any position (Obviously not the off position) and hit the window switches, BOOM, blower motor turns on, and while your holding the switch down (or up doesnt matter, and doesnt matter if its the pass side or drivers side) you can control the speed of the blower motor with the speed switch, and it works likes nothing is wrong, until you let go of the switch. Now, I havent dug into it, but if I remove the HVAC fuse the trick doesnt work, if I remove the PW circuit breaker, the trick dont work. So Im at a damn stand still. Im lost, plain and simple.
Now, I have a Haynes Manual and I have been staring at the schematics and I cant find a common area besides the fuse box. I still have yet to dig into it, but Im wondering if anyone has ANY ideas as to wtf could be causing this. Im thinking it could be a issue with the grounds crossed somewhere and finding it through the PW switch. Again, this is just a idea. If anyone has access to ALLDATA and can look to see any common area between the hvac/blower motor/PW switch and let me know, it would be great. Im litereally at my witts end with this, and Me and electrical just dont mix. I can figure some stuff out, but this one tops the cake. Thanks guys, im going bald over here trying to figure this out, bc im pulling my hair out lol. Thanks again!!
I will hit you up tomorrow with some schematics. I'm too tired right now

Ok. Found the issue. The blower relay was having power on the ground side. Just re-grounded the wire, and boom, works just fine!! Lol. Jeez, this car will be the death of me lol.
