Im trying to install a timing chain on a 98 2200. The haynes manual simply states to slide the chain over the cam sprocket, then slide it over the crank sprocket and release tensioner. That is not happening. Does anyone know if you have to remove the cam sprock or what. This chain will not go on!
figured it out, took the cam sprocket off and the chain went right on. the car runs!
