Hi There,
I have a 2002 2.4L 5spd Z24. Sometimes when I start my car in the mornings, the clutch pedal feels like it has no push back when I press it down and when this happens, my transmission seems to lock me out of the gears and I can't get the car into gear. If I keep pumping the clutch, it eventually starts to feel normal and I can get the transmission back in gear again. Not sure if it needs a transmission fluid change. I topped off the clutch fluid but that didn't help. It also seems to start doing it when the weather gets cold every year. Car has 120,000KM. Any help would be much appreciated as it sometimes happens when I'm driving which is quite dangerous.
Thanks,
I'm thinking it might just be air bubbles so I'm going to try bleeding the clutch fluid first. Anyone have a picture of where the bleed valve is for this car?
Your slave cylinder is more than likely going bad...
Try bleeding it, the bleeder should be right up front, search around, you'll find a small bleeder valve to the left of the battery aboutttttttt 5 inches? just tryin to give you a general area, i know where it is, but no pics sorry

Thanks, found it in the area you specified. Will be bleeding it this weekend to see how it goes. Hasn't been acting up too much the last couple days. Seems to be worse on really cold days.
Thanks again,
probabaly slave cylinder. which means your dropping the trans.

After bleeding the clutch, car is running amazing. Clutch feels even better than when I first bought the car used. Been driving for a week now with absolutely no issues and the clutch pressure does not fluctuate like it used to.
Thanks for the feed backs,
